Journaling
The journaling system provides users with an AI-powered personal journal through the mobile app. Users write entries in a conversational format, receiving real-time responses from an AI assistant that guides reflection and self-discovery.
Journal entries
Section titled “Journal entries”A journal entry is a conversation between the user and an AI assistant. Users type messages and receive responses in real time — the AI replies stream in as the assistant generates them, creating a natural conversational flow.
AI assistants
Section titled “AI assistants”AI assistants are the personalities that interact with users during journaling. Each assistant is configured with:
- Name — The display name users see when journaling.
- Instructions — A system prompt that defines the assistant’s behavior and focus areas.
- Personality settings — Configuration that shapes the assistant’s tone and style.
Admins can create and manage multiple assistants in the Backoffice under Journal Management. Different assistants can serve different purposes — one might focus on gratitude, another on stress management, and another on goal setting.
Journal analysis
Section titled “Journal analysis”After a journaling session, the system generates an AI-powered analysis that includes:
- Summaries — A concise overview of what was discussed.
- Key themes — The main topics and patterns identified in the entry.
- Insights — Observations that help the user (and their coach) understand patterns over time.
Emotion scores
Section titled “Emotion scores”The system assigns emotion scores to journal entries, providing a quantitative measure of emotional state alongside the qualitative journal content. Over time, these scores reveal emotional patterns and trends.
Coach access
Section titled “Coach access”Coaches can view their clients’ journal entries and analyses to support the coaching relationship. Access to journal data requires explicit client consent — the platform enforces a privacy-first model where users control who can see their journal. See Coaching for details on the consent model.
Admin configuration
Section titled “Admin configuration”Admins manage the journaling experience through the Backoffice:
- Create and configure AI assistants with different personas.
- Review how assistants are being used across the tenant.
- Adjust assistant instructions to refine the journaling experience.
