Backoffice Overview
The Backoffice is the central administration dashboard for managing your Afterglow environment. It provides tools for content management, user administration, billing, and platform configuration.
Who has access?
Section titled “Who has access?”The Backoffice is available to users with one of the following roles:
- Admin — Full access to all Backoffice features within their tenant.
- SuperUser — Elevated access to Backoffice features without coaching capabilities.

Feature areas
Section titled “Feature areas”The Backoffice is organized into the following sections, accessible from the sidebar navigation:
- Reports — View platform usage and analytics dashboards.
- Content Management — Create and manage modules, lessons, and learning content.
- Articles — Publish articles and manage article topics.
- Brand Center — Configure your tenant’s branding and visual identity.
- Translations — Manage platform text translations.
- Media — Upload and organize media files.
- System Alerts — Configure alerts and notification rules.
- User Notifications — Manage user-facing notifications.
- Billing — Manage billing contacts and subscription details.
- Journal Management — Configure AI journal assistants.
- Routines — Set up task templates and substance tracking.
- Circles — Create and manage user circles (groups).
- Chats — Monitor one-to-one and circle chat conversations.
- User Management — Manage users and their documents.
- Coaches — Manage coach profiles and bookings.
- Admin Management — Manage administrator accounts.
- Feature Management — Toggle platform features on or off.
- Mode Management — Configure platform modes and experiences.
